Ryan grew up being a multi-sport athlete in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia. After years of competing at the highest level in youth hockey and baseball, he sustained serious elbow and knee injuries in consecutive years that forced him to step away from those sports. Needing to fill the void, Ryan took up the game of golf seriously at the age of 15.

Intrigued by the endless pursuit and individual nature of the game, his newfound passion fuelled early successes on the local junior and amateur circuits. After representing Canada at a number of international events, Ryan accepted a scholarship to play NCAA Division 1 golf in 2015. He has since attained a BCom degree with Honours from UBC’s Sauder School of Business.

Ryan looks forward to helping golfers of all skill levels, both juniors and adults, achieve their goals through private, group, and/or on-course lessons. Whether it be introducing a beginner to the thrill of a well-struck shot or helping competitive players prepare for their next tournament, he will take a systematic approach in effort to improve your game. Golf is not a “one size fits all” pursuit, and Ryan strongly believes in mastering the game’s fundamentals but then utilizing each individual’s athletic ability to create a unique, repetitive, and proficient swing.
